The first workshop on the "ICT Greening Up Initiative" project, funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism (Norway Grants) 2014-2021, "Business Development, Innovation and Small and Medium Enterprises" program, was held with great interest.
During the event, training on the topic "Circular economy and e-waste management of ICT companies" is held with lecturer Silvana Rizzi. It has solid expertise in working with waste from the moment of its generation, characterization, monitoring, collection, pre-treatment, recycling and recovery.
Rizzi is a member of the EU EIT Raw Materials Expert Group and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Expert Group on Sustainable Resources.
The event gathered company representatives in the conference hall of TRIA SPACE.
The project is implemented by the ICT Cluster-Burgas in partnership with the ProspectiM Association. The initiative marks the beginning of the green transformation of the information and communication technology sector in the Burgas region. It provides local business with support, training and competence building on topics such as sustainable business models, green innovation, circular economy and resource and energy efficiency.
