ICT Cluster Burgas, as a partner in the European project RENEW-BOOSTER, informs small and medium-sized enterprises about the launch of the first open call for financial support within the framework of the project.
The call provides an opportunity for funding of up to €60,000 for SMEs developing innovative solutions in key sectors of renewable energy and related infrastructure.
The initiative is part of the European Commission’s Euroclusters programme, implemented under the Single Market Programme, and aims to support the development of sustainable European industrial value chains while accelerating the green and digital transition of the European economy.
Areas where solutions are sought
The open call targets companies working on innovations in the following areas:
- photovoltaic technologies
- offshore wind energy (including floating offshore solutions)
- energy grids and related infrastructure
Through this initiative, the RENEW-BOOSTER project aims to stimulate cooperation between industry, research organisations and cluster structures, as well as support the deployment of new technologies in the energy sector.
What support selected companies will receive
Approved SMEs may receive:
- up to €60,000 in financial support
- participation in a European innovation ecosystem
- access to expert support, training and mentoring
- opportunities for partnerships with other European clusters and companies
The funding is provided through the cascade funding mechanism, widely used in European innovation projects to support businesses.

To support potential applicants, the project partners are organizing an informational webinar where the call conditions and the application process will be presented.
