The RENEW-BOOSTER project, in which ICT Cluster Burgas participates as a partner, has announced its second call for financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The call has a total budget of €800,000, with funding of up to €60,000 per enterprise.

Applications opened on 28 September 2026 and will remain open until 30 November 2026, 17:00 CET (18:00 Bulgarian time).

The call targets innovative projects that contribute to the development of European value chains in three key renewable energy sectors:

  • Photovoltaics
  • Offshore wind energy
  • Energy networks

Enterprises can apply through either the Challenge Call or the Open Call. Supported projects will run for 3 to 6 months.

Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises established in EU Member States, including Bulgaria, as well as in countries participating in the SMP/COSME strand of the Single Market Programme. Applications must be submitted in English via the EU Survey platform.

RENEW-BOOSTER is implemented under the European Euroclusters initiative within the Single Market Programme. The project helps enterprises develop and introduce new products and processes, combining financial support with training, mentoring and international partnerships to accelerate the green and digital transition.

As a project partner, ICT Cluster Burgas contributes its expertise in digital technologies and its connections with DIGIHUB and the Enterprise Europe Network. The cluster’s involvement focuses on developing skills, supporting the adoption of secure digital tools and connecting enterprises with European innovation networks and testing infrastructure.

ICT Cluster Burgas encourages enterprises offering solutions applicable to photovoltaics, offshore wind energy and energy networks to review the conditions of the second call and take advantage of this funding opportunity.
