The document Greening Up Pledge - Commitment to green transformation already has its first followers. Representatives of ICT companies committed themselves to the charter already during the Motivational Event within the ICT Greening Up Initiative project. It is funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism (Norway Grants) 2014-2021, Business Development, Innovation and Small and Medium Enterprises program.
The project is implemented by ICT Cluster - Burgas, in partnership with ProspectiM Association and with the active participation of ICT - Norway.
The event was included in the program of the pilot edition of RemoTion fest Burgas, where the messages of the initiative reached dozens of representatives of the sector.
Why and how the ICT business can become greener was told by the chairman of the ICT Cluster - Burgas Petko Georgiev and Alexander Milev, who is the executive director of Proxiad SEE.
Ivelina Strateva, director of the "Economy and Business Activities" Directorate in the Municipality of Burgas, also took part in the program of the initiative.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of "ProspectiM" Association Ruska Boyadjieva presented the document Greening Up Pledge in an attractive manner and provided an opportunity for the participants to join.
The Charter is a tool to encourage and support companies in the ICT sector in Burgas Region to take steps to reduce carbon emissions and to take action on sustainability issues that affect them.
Everyone who joins the initiative "Commitment to the Green Transformation of the ICT Sector" starts a process in which efforts will be mobilized, concrete measures will be planned and implemented, learning from our own experience to be innovators in the process of GREEN TRANSFORMATION of the ICT sector.
